What is a webinar?

A webinar is live meeting that you can attend from your own computer and is connected to other participants via the internet. Our webinars are designed to provide you with expert advice on year end tasks.

What is the deadline for registration?

You must register for your webinar at least 2 hours minutes prior to the event start time.  If the session you wish to attend has already reached maximum registration and you are unable to attend the other session times, please download one of our recorded sessions.  Recorded sessions will be available online by December 15th.

This is my first time using WebEx to attend a webinar, what do I need to attend?

  • Check your system and operating system by visiting WebEx
  • Make sure you have a separate telephone line for the audio or a sound card and speakers connected to your computer
  • A 56Kbps Internet connection or better
  • JavaScript and cookies need to be enabled
  • Windows Users - Internet Explorer6/7, Firefox 2, Mozilla 1.7+, Netscape 8.1 or higher
  • Mac Users - Firefox 2, Safari 3.0 (Mac OS 10.4,10.5), Safari 2.0 (Mac OS 10.4) Safari 1.3 (Mac OS 10.3)

Can I test my system before the webinar?

Yes, to check your browser and operating system prior to joining the training session simply visit WebEx to test your system.

What should I do the day of the webinar?

You can sign into WebEx 15 minutes prior to the start of the webinar.  Be sure that your computer speakers are enabled so that you can listen to the audio portion of the webinar directly through your computer.  You can also call in through the toll free number listed in your session invitation. 

What happens if I miss a webinar?

If you are unable to attend a webinar, return to the Payroll Learning Center and register to view a recorded session.

I signed up for a webinar, but did not receive instructions. How can I attend?

Simply return to the Payroll Learning Center, sign in to find information on the sessions you registered to attend.

Will I get a copy of the slide deck used during the presentation?

Copies will be distributed after the event to those who attend.  Copies of the deck are not distributed prior to the webinar.

How do you ensure my privacy?

The name of webinar attendees are kept private from other attendees during the webinar.
